Peter Yaremko, a published author and poet, leads participants in learning how to create their own personal space for feeling better through writing. This day-long program is a stress-free space to focus on poetry and well-being – a little oasis in which to bask in the beauty of healing words and learning to tap into our own inner wellspring of creativity. Topics include: how poetry heals and empowers, de-mystifying poetry, how to write simple poems that ease stress, anxiety and trauma. Participants will write and share poems in a supportive, no-critique environment.
