Making their third Rydal Park appearance by popular demand, New York City-based Emily Asher's Garden Party plays jazz from the Big Band era with swank, fervor, panache and a healthy measure of pizzazz. A fixture in nightclubs and performance stages up and down the East Coast, the band draws on the infectious rhythms of New Orleans and the classic tradition of Ellington and Armstrong to produce what they call "fresh growth from vintage roots".
