Embroider Some Positive Plants
Join Melissa Galbraith of MCreativeJ for Positive Plants embroidery, a hands-on beginner-friendly workshop. In this two-hour class we’ll use hand dyed indigo fabric and choose from four phrases (You are loved, you are magic, you are enough, or you belong here) or create your own to stitch among leaves. Melissa will share how to prep your hoop, transfer your pattern, and use the back stitch, stem stitch, and lazy daisy stitch to create your own positive plant design.
All materials for class are included: a wooden embroidery hoop, indigo dyed cotton fabric, full skeins of DMC embroidery thread, embroidery needle, 4 pattern options, transfer paper, felt, sawtooth hook, and printed instructions.
This class will take place at Monster. Our address is 1716 NW Market Street, Seattle, WA 98107. It's at the intersection of 17th and NW Market Street - kitty corner from Mighty-O Donuts.
