Edge of the West at Brookdale Lodge
From the outer reaches of the unknown Edge of the West comes rolling in on a cloud of smoke and distortion, in an old El Camino with bald tires and no muffler. Cactus cast long shadows as a blazing sun sets over the event horizon. Strains of a pedal steel guitar float in and give way to a thundering irresistible pulse, twanging and grinding as dancers fill the dance floor in wild abandon and the room lights up with revelry.
