Eddie Bruce Does Broadway

Singer/entertainer/bandleader Eddie Bruce makes his Rrazz Room at the Prince Theater debut with “Eddie Bruce Does Broadway,” a singular take on the music of The Great White way that has touched his life. Songs will include compositions from “Man of La Mancha” –the first show he ever saw– to music composed by giants like Rodgers and Hammerstein, Stephen Sondheim, and the team of Anthony Newley and Leslie Bricusse. One of the show’s certifiable highlights will be songs from a show Eddie Bruce co-produced, starring Peter Allen, called “Legs Diamond.” Backed by the Tom Adams Trio, the show will mix music from Broadway, Eddie’s unique jazz -flavored influence, and plenty of engaging stories about what these legendary compositions mean to him.
