Dunlap and Mabe presented by Charlotte Players
Charlotte Players presents Dunlap and Mabe at the Charlotte Harbor Event and Conference
Center on January 29, 2024 for a single show. Jack Dunlap and Robert Mabe have been touring
the country together since 2019, and Punta Gorda is one of only two stops they are making in
Florida this winter. Both are accomplished musicians in their own right.
Jack Dunlap has his roots deep in bluegrass music but has also ventured into jazz, classical,
swing, Celtic, and even Eastern Indian folk music. He is well known in the Washington D.C.
area for his mandolin work both as a solo and group artist. Robert Mabe grew up in North
Carolina with a grandfather who played at the Grand Ole Opry. His parents gave him his first
banjo at age 12, and he continues to enjoy bluegrass as well as jazz, Irish, and blues. Their band
will perform bluegrass, popular cover songs, and jazz favorites that will get everyone moving.
“Dunlap and Mabe” will come to the Charlotte Harbor Event and Conference Center on January
29, 2024 at 7:30 p.m. Adult tickets are $36.00 or $42.00 for preferred, students are $18.00 or
