Dune: Part 2 Will Open at The Jane Pickens Theater on National Release Date

NEWPORT, RI – The Jane Pickens Theater & Event Center (The JPT), a world-class cinema located in Washington Square in Newport’s historic center, is bringing the much-awaited sequel to the 2021 sci-fi epic Dune to The JPT for a two-week run beginning its national release date, March 1. Dune: Part 2 is the first film in recent history to open at The JPT on its national release date. Dune: Part 2 (March 1 - March 14): Paul Atreides unites with Chani and the Fremen beginning a spiritual and martial journey to become the prophesied savior, Muad'dib, while seeking revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. Facing a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the universe, he must prevent a terrible future only he can foresee: a Holy War in his name, spreading throughout the known universe.
