Duke Ellington’s “Nutcracker Suite”
Be prepared to bring in the holiday season with Berklee’s “Diamond Cut” Big Band, performing Duke Ellington’s “The Nutcracker Suite.” Under the direction of Professor Tia Fuller, this concert celebrates the music of Duke Ellington’s 1960’s recording that features jazz interpretations of Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker,” arranged by Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn.
Additionally, this spectacular performance will be highlighting select students from the Boston Conservatory dance department, under the direction of world-renowned choreographer/dancer and Boston Conservatory faculty, Professor Anthony Burrell.
