At a time when antisemitism continues to rise, the Holocaust Center for Humanity is responding with something unexpected: comics. Created by the Holocaust Center for Humanity and premiering in Seattle from August-November 2026, Drawn to Resist: Comics, Courage, and the Fight Against Nazism explores how Jewish artists in the 1930s and 40s used the emerging medium of comics to confront Nazism, champion justice, and refuse silence. Featuring large-scale artwork and original panels, the exhibition blends art, history, and popular culture to show how creative courage can inspire resistance today. Following its Seattle debut, the exhibition will travel to museums nationwide.
Thank you to our sponsors: 4Culture and the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle.
