Learn how to perfect your techniques for drawing human bodies in this comprehensive class.
Week 1 covers proportion and mannequinization (a method of breaking down the body into simple shapes). Just like the old wooden mannequins from art class, but better.
Week 2 is all about how to pose figures so they look natural. We'll go over line of action, weight distribution, and foreshortening.
Week 3 will teach you how to draw the muscles of the body. It will focus on simplified musculature necessary for drawing figures realistically without busting out a copy of Gray's Anatomy.
And week 4 is all about presenting different body types, especially skeletal structure and fat.
