Dr. Seuss Day

Arcadia University's Office of Community Service is celebrating Dr. Seuss's birthday on Sunday, Feb. 26, from 1 to 3 p.m. in Grey Towers Castle with Dr. Seuss Day mini-carnival. Children in grades K-3 accompanied by an adult are invited to enjoy a fun-filled day of activities including bingo, face painting, juggling, storytelling, button making, obstacle courses, memory games and freeze dancing. The Dr. Seuss event was established in honor of Jami Rodriguez, an Arcadia alumna, and continues in her memory. The event is free but donations are accepted and will go toward the Jami Rodriguez Scholarship. The scholarship recognizes the contributions current full-time undergraduates have made to campus life through dedication to community service.
