Donate Life Night with the El Paso Chihuahuas
Join Southwest Transplant Alliance (STA) and the El Paso Chihuahuas on Thursday, August 1 for Donate Life Night at the ballpark. Donate Life Night will honor organ donor heroes and their families and celebrate the gift of life made possible through organ, eye and tissue donation.
This celebration kicks off National Multicultural Donor Awareness Month, a month that STA, a leading organ procurement organization serving El Paso, observes every August to save and improve the quality of life of communities of color by creating a positive culture around organ donation. Nearly 70% of Texans waiting for a lifesaving organ transplant are from Black and Hispanic communities.
