Dog Attempts Guinness Record for Slam Dunks at Lazy Dog Restaurants
Leonard Lee, a two-time record-holding dog, will aim to set a new record for the most basketball slam dunks in one minute by a dog for 2023. In addition to the public event taking place at 10:30 AM there will be:
Celebration and Giveaways: To commemorate the event and show appreciation for dogs, Lazy Dog Restaurants in Chantilly will offer goodie bags to spectators, while supplies last. These bags will include complimentary Lazy Dog Restaurants dog bowls or free appetizer cards and fun swag.
Charitable Support: Throughout the entire day, Lazy Dog Restaurants in Chantilly will be fundraising for local dog rescue, Homeward Trails Animal Rescue, to support their mission of finding homes for dogs and cats rescued from low-income, rural animal shelters or whose owners can no longer care for them. Lazy Dog will donate 15% of every bill when guests mention Homeward Trails or use code “HOMEWARD” for online orders. In addition, Lazy Dog will be gifting dog toys to the rescue at the event just in time for the holidays.
