The film Mariposa Relámpago narrates the mythology and spiritual journey around Guadalupe Maravilla’s sculpture, also titled Mariposa Relámpago. The film follows the sculpture’s process of transformation from a school bus, to a healing instrument; featuring the bus’ migration across multiple international borders, its blessing inside of a volcano, the FBI’s involvement, and its future described by a Tarot card reader.
This screening is open to the public and admission is free. Skip the line with advance registration, or register upon walk-up. Seating and refreshments will open at 6:30P with the film begin shortly after 7P. Feel free to stop by our onsite cafe Spread & Co. to purchase snacks and additional beverages. Seating for the amphitheater is on grass, dirt and stone. Please bring your own ground seating for your comfort.
