Dine Out at Georgie Porgies' for Our Harmony Club - Thursday; September 12
Would you like to help support a wonderful local organization! If so, you are invited to join us and enjoy a delicious meal, during the Family Night “Dine Out for Our Harmony Club” on Thursday September 12 at Georgie Porgies’, 5200 Washington Avenue. Stop by with your family and friends between 4pm – 9pm. A portion of the total food purchases will be donated back to Our Harmony Club.
Our Harmony Club is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit which provides social day programs for individuals in our community, who have age-related challenges ranging from social isolation to Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease. Various club locations are located throughout Racine, Kenosha and Lyons WI. With the help of dedicated volunteers, it offers 6 hours of affordable respite for caregivers, while their loved ones enjoy participating in activities such as crafts, games, singing, music therapy, various types of entertainment along with a delicious homemade lunch! Guests feel a sense of community and belonging, as they spend their day surrounded by their friends and peers.
Volunteer opportunities are also available. Not only is this experience rewarding for the volunteers, it provides an invaluable service to help guests and their families.
