Dickinson College Welcomes Indigenous Comedian & Writer Joey Clift
Clift, a comedian, TV writer, and Emmy-nominated producer, is also an enrolled Cowlitz Indian Tribal Member. His writing credits include “Spirit Rangers” on Netflix, “New Looney Tunes” on Cartoon Network and “Molly of Denali” on PBS. Clift is the creative mind behind the Shorty Impact Award-winning Comedy Central digital series “Gone Native.” His short films have been showcased at prestigious venues, from Montreal’s Just for Laughs Comedy Festival to The Smithsonian. In addition to his professional achievements, Clift is the founder of the LA Underground Cat Network, a thriving Facebook group with 16,000 members, providing a platform for Los Angeles comedians to share pictures of their cats.
