Diablo Women's Chorale Presents "Over the River and Into the Woods"
The Diablo Women’s Chorale (DWC) presents Over the River and Into the Woods, a joyful and nostalgic musical experience celebrating the wonders of nature, devotion, and true love. From Into the Woods to Cry Me a River to Bridge Over Troubled Waters, the DWC brings to life autumn’s warmth, hues, and harmonies.
Backed by a live band, DWC’s upcoming program boasts a vibrant musical mix—from No Roots and Cry Me a River to timeless Bridge Over Troubled Water—that brings to life the warmth and wonder of the season.
Leading the ensemble are Director Erin Fishler, who draws on her background in performance and education to shape the Chorale’s expressive sounds, and Rebecca Hass, a composer and recording artist whose musicality brings depth and nuance to the piano accompaniment.
Founded in 1942 during World War II, the Diablo Women’s Chorale has been a beloved presence in the East Bay for more than 80 years. Today, this popular community chorus continues to unite women of all ages who share a love of singing and a desire to spread joy through music.
