Diablo Ballet continues 30th Anniversary with Sleeping Beauty's Wedding

Diablo Ballet’s landmark 30th Season kicks off the new year February 9 – 10 with Sleeping Beauty’s Wedding, featuring the glorious 3rd act celebrating the royal wedding of Princess Aurora and Prince Desire. The jeweled fairies; Diamond, Gold, Silver, Sapphire, and the Lilac Fairy and her attendants along with fairytale characters Puss in Boots, The White Cat, Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, Prince Charming, and the Bluebirds dance for the happy couple in the joyous finale. The program also features the exhilarating Confetti by Gerald Arpino and a world premiere ballet, Dr. Magic, by award-winning Penny Saunders dedicated to beloved Diablo Ballet friend Mari Cyphers.
