DFW Youth World Baseball Classic
DFW Youth World Baseball Class holds its opening ceremonies from 5-9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9, at the Waxahachie Sports Complex, 151 Broadhead Road.
The tournament features 73 youth baseball teams from 10 different countries/regions, with skills competition from 5-8 p.m., the national anthem at 8 p.m., a parade of teams from 8-9 p.m., and fireworks at 9 p.m. The tournament continues through Monday, Aug. 12.
