The event is based on Dr. Bakari's new book release, Seven Exits: Leave Behind What No Longer Serves You. Dr. Bakari lived in Des Moines for 13 years with her family while teaching Psychology at Des Moines Area Community College. She currently lives in New York while continuing to teach adjunct for DMACC. This in-person gathering promises to be a mindful and inspirational experience.
