Derby Day at Dinsmore
We invite you to spend the day with us at our historic homestead, not far from the Ohio river, on the grounds of a stately antebellum home on the First Saturday in May, known as Derby Day, Saturday, May 6th.
Our special day will have live simulcast of the 149th Run for the Roses, a Hat Contest for the ladies, and gentlemen - if they want to indulge, a silent auction of collectibles and great gifts and a Split the Pot Contest along with dinner, drinks, and a lively crowd.
This fun filled day remains one of Dinsmore’s largest fundraisers, generating a significant portion of Dinsmore’s budget to support our summer day camps for children, our heritage tours and educational field trips for more than 2,000 school-aged children each year.
