Please join Conservation Nebraska and Metro Transit on Tuesday, June 17th from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Barbara Weitz Community Engagement Center (6400 S University Dr Rd N, Omaha, NE 68182) in Room 231 for our event, Demystifying Omaha's Metro Transit System. This informational and interactive ride-along event will cover how to use the Metro Transit bus system and all the innovative features the transit system has to offer.
Riding the bus is easy to learn and comes with many benefits for you and the environment, but we know it can be intimidating if you haven't ridden before. We’ll start at UNO with a “how-to-ride” chat with Metro Transit. Then we'll go hands-on with a free ride-along on ORBT. The ORBT (Omaha Rapid Bus Transit) is Omaha's first and only rapid transit line. It provides a frequent, reliable, and affordable way to get to, from, and in between the Riverfront and Westroads Mall.
This event is free and open to the public, but space is limited. Please make sure to RSVP by completing your registration here: https://secure.everyaction.com/rkEHDOgWt0ycbbUnYGOEyw2
