Demystifying Death and Dying
Liz Shapiro is a former Beachwood resident for over 21 years and a licensed massage therapist for over 10 years specializing in geriatric massage. After many years of helping families with aging parents and then experiencing the loss of her step-father, she decided she needed to educate and help families on death and dying. She became a certified Death Doula or End of Life Doula in June of 2024. She has a passion to help not only seniors and their families but also those diagnosed with a terminal illness. Educating about all parts of death and dying should not be scary. If we plan, we can remove the stress and having that emotional comfort and support for both the family and the individual can allow people the opportunity to make the final months or days a positive experience. Join us as we Demystify Death and Dying, Wednesday, July 23 at 2:00PM or 7:00PM.
