2nd Annual Delray Wall Mural Fest with headliner Johnny Dread Join us for the 2nd Annual Delray Walls Mural Fest - a live music and street art festival on the Old School Square campus on Friday, July 26th and Saturday, July 27th. Friday is FREE. Saturday is a ticketed event ($10 General Admission). Delray Walls Mural Fest is a collaboration with Galera Collective & Old School Square in a two-day showcase of some of South Florida’s best street artists from Palm Beach County to Miami. We’re kicking off the festival on Friday night with a live performance from local reggae/rock band Spred the Dub. Artists will start that night painting on large wooden panels placed throughout the park and continue painting all day Saturday. There will also be a night market on both Friday and Saturday night with curated vendors, including art vendors and food and beverage offerings. The headliner for Saturday is International Reggae Artist Johnny Dread. Murals will remain in the Park at Old School Square over the weekend and then be placed in different locations throughout Downtown Delray Beach. Weekend Line-up: Friday, July 26th | 4pm - 10pm | FREE Kickoff Concert with Spred the Dub This is our monthly FREE Sunset Concert, so Friday night admission is FREE. Join us for a performance by Spred the Dub, South Florida’s favorite “Feel Good Reggae” band! His family, including 8 siblings moved to Miami when Johnny was young. Johnny Dread has taken the stage in festivals across the globe, concerts and benefits with leading artists such as Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill, and The Marleys, among others. A self-taught drummer, he has gone from the back of the scene to the front stage captivating a wide spectrum of audiences across Europe to the Bahamas, Jamaica, and Central & South America. In his hometown Miami, he has been a staple of the Bob Marley Festival for 15 years.
