Death Threat is like if Rihanna’s “Bitch Better Have My Money” was about medical leave. Part standup, part PowerPoint comedy, this hour-long solo show is a fresh, biting look at how bureaucratic systems push us to the brink–and what happens when we get there. Written and performed by Chicago-bred, New York-based comedian Rima Parikh (The New Yorker, McSweeney’s, The Onion), this show is for anyone who’s ever sent a mean email (or just wanted to).
“It’s like watching someone land 10 backflips in a row without touching the ground.” - Jezebel.
Featuring opener Carly Kane (WOW Presents Plus, Funny or Die). Sunday, September 15th at 8 p.m. at The Lincoln Lodge. Tickets are $10. 21+.
