D.C. United VS Ethiopia National Team
On August 2, D.C. United will host the Ethiopia National Team at Audi Field for the second annual Ethiopia Soccer Legacy Match. It’s a celebration of heritage, diaspora, and international sport. Spearheaded by club co-owner Eyob Joe Mamo, this landmark event brings together two dynamic teams for a match that honors community both on and off the field.
This year’s match will also feature a very special guest, celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson, whose culinary legacy bridges continents and cultures. He’ll take part in the pre-match festivities, including presenting the official coin toss, and curate an exclusive culinary experience inside the AV Lounge.
