Day of Gardening
PRE-REGISTER BY FEBRUARY 19th! EMAIL: [email protected], put REGISTRATION FORM in the Subject Line, and we'll email a registration form to you. ** OR ** Send your $30 check payable to T.G.C. District III and put 'Day of Gardening' on the memo line, along with your email address, so that we may confirm your registration. Mail your $30 check by February 19th to: Marilyn Smith, 279 Pine Hollow Road, Dayton, TN 37321. Otherwise, the entry fee is $35 at the door.
Gardening enthusiasts of all skill levels will enjoy this program of speakers. Topics include:
-Native plants and wildlife habitats
-Gardening for small spaces
-Houseplants for indoor air quality
-Planting combinations using trending garden colors
-Hydrangeas and the Cape Cod Hydrangea Festival
-Hydroponic gardening
-Incorporating water features into the landscape for wildlife and wellbeing.
Participating companies/organizations include Reflection Riding Arboretum and Nature Center, Dream Gardens USA, UT Extension, Elders Ace Hardware, Aqua Nooga, Ooltewah Nursery, and Urban Horticultural Supply.
Event includes a catered boxed lunch. Used gardening books and other gardening items will be available for purchase. Learn about area garden clubs.
