DANCE-DANCE-DANCE AT LAS PALMAS GRAND WITH A LIVE BAND
Jon Dietz and the Twin Lakes Trio have agreed to return to the Mesa, Arizona area for another season, delivering that award winning, foot tapping music that’s guaranteed to get you up out of that chair and onto the dance floor. Jon Dietz is a renowned concertina player and musician who has been recognized for his exceptional talent and contributions to the concertina music scene. He was inducted into the World Concertina Congress Hall of Fame in 2020, an esteemed institution where he is celebrated for his mastery of the instrument and his substantial impact on the music community. That’s right folks; Jon Dietz and the Twin Lakes Trio are back in town providing us with that soul moving sound that only Jon, his concertina and talented crew is capable of producing. They will be performing for our enjoyment this Sunday, March 1, at Las Palmas Grand, 2550 S. Ellsworth Road, Mesa from 1:30 – 5:00 pm. So, dust off them dancing shoes or boots and head on over to Las Palmas Grand for an afternoon of dancing and socializing while Jon churns out a multitude of musical styles to satisfy the most discerning musicophile! Directions to the club house: enter through the main gate off Ellsworth Road and head to the club house (inform guard you are attending the dance). Parking is provided around the club house. Please do not park in reserved spots or by the fountain in the front of facility or block any resident’s driveway. Enter facility, go past reception desk on the left, first hallway make a left. Enter double doors at end of hallway. Tickets are sold at the door and can be purchased as follows: $8 for members of the Po.L.K. of A / Arizona Chapter while non- members pay $10 for entrance or save on future dances by joining the Klub for only $10 annually and receiving member ticket pricing. BYOB. Ice, water and cups are provided by the Klub. So, head on over to Las Palmas Grand and enjoy an afternoon of music and friendship while seeing old, as-well-as making new friends.
