Cultivating Care Community Fair: A Wellness Day in Biscayne Gardens
Join us at the CULTIVATING CARE COMMUNITY FAIR!
Food & Nutrition for All (FNFA) Collaborative, Quest Diagnostics Foundation, UHP, FIU, the Black Mothers Care Plan, Health Council of South Florida, U.S. Hunger, the Miami-Dade Age-Friendly Initiative and wonderful community partners invite you to a A WELLNESS DAY IN THE GROVE, an event co-designed to make food, health, heat mitigation, and supportive resources more accessible, all in one place!
The event will feature a community food distribution led by FNFA partners, health screenings and navigation, nutrition education, community engagement and resources, older adult and maternal health activities and support, cooling stations to mitigate for the heat, and family-friendly wellness opportunities. Community members will have access to diagnostic testing through Quest Diagnostics’ Blueprint for Wellness mobile phlebotomy unit and prenatal/postpartum support through the Southern Birth Justice Network’s Mobile Midwife Clinic.
Together, partners across food access, healthcare, outreach, environment, and wellness are coming together to cultivate care, connection, and healthier communities. Thank you to everyone helping make this possible!
