The Cheshire Symphony Orchestra is in its 37th season. The CSO under the direction of Dr. Hilarie Clark Moore will be performing their Spring Concert on Friday, March 24th at 7:30 p.m. at St Peter's Church in Cheshire. Formed in 1987, the Cheshire Symphony Orchestra (CSO) is a civic orchestra comprised of ~50 dedicated, volunteer musicians drawn from many central Connecticut communities.
The Symphony will be performing:
Weber’s Der Freischütz Overture
Grieg’s Holberg Suite for String Orchestra, Op. 40
Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 3 in A minor (“Scottish”), Op. 5
St Peter's Church is located at 59 Main Street in Cheshire. Admission to the concert is $15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors, children 5 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased at the door. Masks are strongly suggested inside the church.
