ABOUT THE SPEAKERS:
Sally Perkins, Sr. Manager of Storytellers, Authenticx
Sally Perkins serves as Sr. Manager of Storytellers at Authenticx, a conversational intelligence company. In her role, Sally analyzes quantitative and qualitative conversational data from which she crafts impactful data-backed stories that offer insights into how healthcare organizations can improve the customer experience and improve business outcomes.
Prior to her work at Authenticx, Sally was a Professor of Rhetorical Studies at California State University Sacramento and an adjunct faculty member at Butler University in Indianapolis. She is also a professional story performer and has trained hundreds of professionals on telling compelling stories to accomplish business objectives. On Sally's best days, she can be found telling stories to kids at Riley's Hospital for Children in Indianapolis.
About Amy Brown, Founder and CEO, Authenticx
Amy built her career as a rising executive in the healthcare industry, during which time she advocated for underserved populations, led and mobilized teams to expand healthcare coverage to thousands of Indiana residents, and learned the nuance of corporate operations.
In 2018, Amy founded Authenticx with the goal of improving our healthcare system and consumer experience. Using data-backed storytelling, Amy aims to bring to light the issues that are impeding on the consumer experience and how we can work to create a better environment for healthcare in the U.S.

Lisa Huse, Chief Commercial Officer, ExtraSecurity
Lisa currently serves as an executive advisor for tech-driven healthcare startup companies where she contributes over 28 years of expertise in marketing, sales, and customer service to commercial strategy development. Previously, she was the Chief Commercial Officer for LifeOmic, an Indiana-based precision medicine software company founded by Don Brown and acquired by Fountain Life in 2023. Before LifeOmic, Lisa built a robust career at Roche spanning more than two decades and culminating in global positions as the Regional Head of Marketing and Customer Experience for Europe and North America and the General Manager for Management Center Iberia, based in Barcelona, Spain. Lisa is a graduate of DePauw University and resides in Indianapolis with her husband and two children.
M. Kim Sexton, MBA, PhD, Clinical Professor of Marketing, Indiana University
M. Kim Saxton, MBA, PhD is a Clinical Professor of Marketing at the Indiana University Kelley School of Business in Indianapolis. She believes marketers should make data-driven decisions to improve their effectiveness. She came by her interest in data-driven decisions naturally, with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from MIT, reinforced by an MBA and PhD in Marketing from IU. She has been teaching the business of medicine for more than a decade.
