Cover The City Prayer Walk
We will Cover The City of Baytown, Tx in Intercessory Prayer
Expect to be challenged physically, mentally, and spiritually but also expect to be blessed! The course covers approximately *35 miles of Baytown's streets and neighborhoods. The goal is for us to traverse the City of Baytown, interceding in prayer with every step. We will lift up our families, neighborhoods, schools, businesses, leaders, and churches before God.
During the walk, our volunteer support vehicles and portable restrooms will travel the course, checking on participants and aiding as needed. Support tents will be available every 2.5 miles to offer refreshments, first aid, and friendly faces that will provide transportation back to the starting point parking area.
Whether you walk 1 mile or are able to walk all 35, your participation matters!
Every step you take, every prayer you offer helps bring the power of prayer to our city.
Together, as we unite in faith and intercede for Baytown, we believe that God will move in extraordinary ways.
SCHEDULE
6:00AM - 6:45AM | Walker Prep & Check In
Check In , On site registration , Last minute t-shirt pick up
Walkers will use this time to apply sunscreen, stretch, pack light snacks
Prayer points will be made available to all walkers
6:45AM - 7:00AM | Opening Prayer
We will come together to pray before setting off on our walk
7:00AM | Prayer Walk begins
Walkers who start later than the initial group will be shuttled ahead to ensure walkers remain within large groups
6:30PM - 7:00PM | Closing Celebration
We will come together as a community to celebrate all that God has done and will do with our prayers over the City of Baytown.
