Cool Season Vegetables
Cool season or cold weather vegetables grow well in the cooler temperatures of spring and fall. They do not do well in the heat of summer or the cold of winter. This presentation will cover the basic steps to prepare the garden, climate issues and zones, growing conditions for cold hardy vegetables, the best times of the year to plant, when to harvest, and a list of cool season plants. Our presenter is Cathryn Campbell who is a local Master Gardener.
