Newcomers workshop is at 6:30 pm, and the first contra is at 7:00pm. Note: This contra dance is being held at Bill's Music Shop & Pickin' Parlor and is preceded by a potluck supper at 6pm. Contra dancing is a great way to get some exercise, meet new people, and enjoy live music in a family-friendly environment. No partner necessary. Every dance is taught before you do it and has only a few, easily learned movements. If you can walk, you can contra dance! Admission is $10 - cash, check, or Venmo (add 50 cents for Venmo).
