Contra Dance Fundraiser
A professional caller and two musicians will be on hand to lead the dancing following a buffet pasta dinner, beverages and a silent auction. Beer and wine will be available for a small fee. No experience necessary to join in the dance! HELO, Inc. (Home, Education, Love, Opportunity) is an orphanage in Haiti that was founded by a Connecticut resident in 2007. HELO includes a school and vocational training for the HELO residents and children in the surrounding community, providing education for over 300 children. Recent escalating gang violence in Haiti has created scarcity and driven up costs of food and fuel, causing further hardship in an already impoverished nation. We hope, with your support, that we can continue to fund the school, meet food and fuel needs and ensure the safety of the children. Thank you!!!
