Conifer Christmas Parade
Experience the magic of the holiday season at the 41st Annual Conifer Christmas Parade and Festival on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 10:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., in Conifer, Colorado.
Presented by the Conifer Area Chamber of Commerce, this year’s event celebrates the joy of reading and the power of stories with the theme "A Season of Stories." The theme celebrates the opening of the newest addition to our community, the Conifer Public Library, with a festive procession of floats, music, and holiday cheer.
The parade will wind its way through the heart of Conifer, showcasing dazzling displays inspired by beloved Christmas tales. From classic characters to heartwarming scenes, each float will bring a favorite story to life. Festival attendees will also be treated to entertainment as well as a Christmas Market where vendors will be selling a variety of local goods and services.
So gather your family and friends, bundle up in your warmest winter gear, and come celebrate the spirit of the season and holiday cheer!
First and second place winners will be announced in each of the following parade categories: Best Small Animal, Best Large Animal, Best of Youth, Best Music, and Best Freestyle. An overall "Best of Parade" prize of $500 will be awarded, along with a $200 prize for second place overall.
The parade leaves West Jefferson Middle School at 1:45 p.m. and officially starts at 2 p.m. at West Street and Sutton Road, continuing down Sutton Road into Aspen Park and ending at South Davis Avenue.
Santa will arrive at the festival via fire engine at 10:20 a.m. He’ll be available for visits at Santa Land in the Christmas Village hosted by Elk Creek Fire Protection District until 1:00 p.m. Public parking is available at West Jefferson Elementary School, Conifer Community Church and the Aspen Park RTD lot. A shuttle will operate between the middle school and the Christmas Village before and after the parade.
