Concert: "The Life and Music of Harry Belafonte"
Vocalist Stephen Fuller and Amani (Marty Eigen-sax & flute, Alex Gressel-bass, Dave Braham-piano, Gordon Lane-drums and Oloye Karade-percussion) will take you on a musical journey which will showcase the music of Harry Belafonte. Belafonte was an amazing singer, actor, and an amazing activist.
The concert will take place on the main level of the library at 7 p.m. on Saturday, February 3.
Stephen Fuller's singing career started at age 12, when a teacher recognized his musical gift. He attended the Newark Arts High School and Colgate University, where he studied Sociology and Music, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree. This dynamic bass/baritone sings to packed houses, across the predominantly upscale supper club circuit, on either side of the Hudson River.
