Concert for Gaza
You are invited to an evening of music and food on June 14 at the First Presbyterian Church in Racine at 6:00 PM. The concert will feature Milwaukee violinist Jane Han who uses her musical genius to bring awareness to Palestine. You will also be able to enjoy a wide array of deserts common in Palestine, the Middle East, the Far East and Europe. There will also be a bake sale with these desserts and a silent auction of Middle Eastern goods.
The Concert is a fundraiser for three aid organizations that are serving Palestinians on the ground in Gaza. It has been over two months since the Israeli government reinstated the total blockade on the Gaza Strip, cutting off food, water, fuel, and medical supplies. The Racine Coalition for Peace and Justice is responding with this second fundraiser to provide urgently needed supplies at this time of crisis in Palestine.
