Community Day 2024
NEW ROCHELLE, New York – Shiloh Baptist Church is set to host Community Day 2024 on Saturday, August 24, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church.
Community Day 2024 is an outdoor summer event to celebrate the end of summer and the beginning of the school year. Guests will enjoy “Giveaways for Families” from Black Men United and NBC Home Mission Board, free backpacks and school supplies from HOPE Community Services, toy giveaways from Tru Fly NY, free haircuts, games for kids and families, including a Spider-Man obstacle course and a visit from Mickey Mouse, health awareness, vendors, food, music, and much more.
“Community Day 2024 is for the youth and their families. Our church is a pillar of the community, and it is our duty to serve our community. If we could provide our youth with end-of-summer fun and make it a little easier to transition into a sensational school year, we know we are doing our purpose and living up to our name, “Sensational Shiloh,” says Rev. Dr. H. Lee Jordan, Jr., Pastor.
