Community DANCE Showcase
Young Dancers from Ponte Vedra Ballet Earn Coveted Spots in Prestigious 2026 Summer Intensives Nationwide and Abroad
The rising stars of ballet are poised to shine as a group of pre‐professional dancers, ages 9 to 18, from Ponte Vedra Ballet & Dance Company have secured acceptance into some of the nation’s most competitive and distinguished ballet summer intensives for 2026.
These talented young artists, who train year‐round at Ponte Vedra Ballet & Dance Company, voted 2025 Best of the Beaches Dance Studio, distinguished themselves among thousands of applicants nationwide and abroad. Their placements span many of the country’s most respected programs, where they will receive rigorous training, refine their technique, and deepen their artistry under world‐class faculty.
“This achievement is a testament to the dedication, passion, and exceptional talent of our students. It takes a community of committed instructors to help our dancers reach their highest potential. Brava!” said Dawn Wolf, Artistic & Executive Director. “We are immensely proud of their accomplishments, including the partial scholarships they have earned from several of these programs. We look forward to watching their continued growth.”
Students received invitations to renowned programs including:
The Royal Ballet School, Covent Garden, London, The Royal Ballet School LA, Ballet West (Utah), John Cranko School, Joffrey Ballet NYC, The Rock School (Philadelphia, PA), Next Generation Ballet (Tampa), Orlando Ballet, Martha Graham School NYC, School of American Ballet (SAB) NYC, Ballet Magnificat!, and Trentino Music Festival in Italy (Universal Ballet Competition Award Winner).
The dancers also attended Universal Ballet Competition (UBC) in Palm Beach, FL (special accolades Alexandra S. received High Gold and won an award to attend the Trentino Music Festival in Italy Summer 2026) and Asha W. received High Gold for both of her variations in the Primary Competitive Division. They also took the stage at the Youth American Gran Prix (YAGP) in Boca Raton, FL.
To celebrate their achievements, Ponte Vedra Ballet & Dance Company will host a Community Showcase on Saturday, April 18 at 5:00 PM in their Black Box Theatre located at 886 A1A North, Suite #5, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082. The showcase will feature an enchanting mix of contemporary, classical, and flamenco works performed by the dancers selected for these prestigious intensives.
