Commercial Acting Class

Commercial Acting Class Did you know that 85% of the work in Philadelphia is commercials? This is a great course for talent just starting out in the industry or theatre talent transitioning to on-camera. The focus of this class will be on on-camera auditioning skills and acting for commercials, working on-camera with commercial copy and/or scenes, learning industry terms and much more.

Topics that may be covered include:
--working on-camera with commercial copy and/or scenes
--learning industry terms; verbally and on scripts
--cold readings
--instructor feedback

Gene is a former director of the School of Theatre Arts at UArts and a president of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. He has taught on-camera technique for narrative production, industrial, and commercial work both here and in Chicago. Wickline Casting is fortunate to have this stellar instructor here to offer such a widely sought and rarely offered course.
