Comedian Poundcake Presents R&B Comedy Night
Poundcake, who grew up in the Raleigh neighborhood in Memphis, Tennessee, has been making people laugh his whole life. In school, he was able to make the entire class laugh including faculty and staff at his alma mater, Raleigh-Egypt High School. Although, he knew he was the wittiest of all, he never thought that he would one day make a living as a comedian.
The (3) time Best in Black Award recipient, in the categories of: "Best in Social Media | Overall Best Social Media Posts," "Best Comedian," and "Best in Social Media | Humorous Posts got his big break in comedy in 2013 doing funny videos portraying the characters of "Ne-Ne, Jeff, and Kesha" alongside his late mother Joyce who portrayed the role of "Ms. Jackson," which immediately elevated him to a viral sensation.
