Newcomers workshop is at 7pm, and the first contra is at 7:30pm. Contra dancing is a great way to get some exercise, meet new people, and enjoy live music in a family-friendly environment. No partner necessary. Every dance is taught before you do it and has only a few, easily learned movements. If you can walk, you can contra dance! Admission is $10 - cash, check, or Venmo (add 50 cents for Venmo). Kids 12 & under dance for free with parent, and must be supervised.
