Coltrane 100 Vinyl Listening Session by Maiden Voyage
Celebrate 100 years of Coltrane with Impulse Records on Thursday, September 3rd at Populus Hotel. Maiden Voyage and local jazz musician/historian Steve Griggs host a listening program honoring John Coltrane's 100th birthday and highlighting three recent reissues from the Impulse catalog: Africa/Brass, Impressions, Dear John C. Seating is first come, first served so arrive early.
Our monthly residency at Populus Seattle pairs with Pioneer Square’s iconic First Thursday Art Walk. Join us in The Library at 5pm for guided, deep listening sessions of jazz, soul, and other favorites on vinyl. Food and drink available from Salt Harvest. No Cover. All ages.
