Collect 2023: Hey Daddy-O!
It’s time for the Workhouse Arts Foundation’s annual fundraiser, Collect. This year’s event, Collect 2023 - Hey Daddy-O, will take place in the McGuireWoods Gallery (building W-16) on March 18, 2023. Collect 2023 artwork from Workhouse campus artists will be on view in the gallery from February 8 through March 18, 2023.
Lura Bovee, Workhouse Artist, and Workhouse Arts Foundation, Inc. Board Member, said: “Collect is an annual celebration and fundraiser supported by the original art provided by our campus artists. This event is always fun, and we invite our guests to join us for a ‘beatnik-inspired’ evening of comedy, refreshments, and revelry! This year’s entertainment features veteran comedian Robert Mac, hosted by comedian and magician, Charlie Ross.”
This event gives guests the opportunity to add to, or begin, their own collection of original art by Workhouse artists. Pieces are won during an exciting raffle. Guests can preview the art included in the event in the online gallery and the actual on-site exhibition, in the McGuireWoods Gallery from February 8 – March 18, 2023. Winners of each piece of art are announced during the raffle and guests can take their art with them at the conclusion of the event.
