Step into the seedy, smoky underworld where clowns gather when the greasepaint fades and the spotlight goes dark. Clown Bar is a dark comedy that blends crime noir with slapstick absurdity. Full of colorful characters, sharp dialogue, and outrageous antics, it’s an immersive play that pulls the audience right into the gritty world of clown gangsters, love, and betrayal.
In Adam Szymkowicz’s wildly offbeat noir comedy, a former clown-turned-private-detective is dragged back into the seedy clown underworld he thought he escaped. His mission: investigate the suspicious death of his brother -- a case that leads straight to the infamous Clown Bar.
Set entirely in a dive bar for clowns, this show is a fast-paced mashup of hard-boiled detective drama and outrageous theatrical comedy, where balloon animals and backroom deals go hand-in-hand.
To start the evening, the world of Clown Bar comes to life with a live variety show, featuring clown acts, specialty performances, and chaotic barroom flair.
