Learn how to use one of the most popular tools in the woodshop at the Hub. We will go over tool pathing, how to choose the right bit, feed and spindle speed rates, and more. Participants will leave with the knowledge of how the CNC works, 2 bits for use on the CNC, and a flash drive with preloaded feeds and speeds saved for ease of use. This class is recommended for individuals with a firm grasp of vector-based design software, as no instruction on how to create a 2D file will be given.
In this class series, the first day will be a group session covering the basics of the CNC router. The second day will be a one-on-one session scheduled with the instructor based on your availability.
