City Hall Selfie Day
What: City Hall Selfie Day is a nationwide event organized by Emerging Local Government Leaders (ELGL) since 2016. Government employees, elected officials, members of the media and community members across the country participate to show their pride in local government.
Why: Winners of Most Edina Spirit, Most Unique Selfie and People's Choice (decided by voting on the @EdinaMN Instagram story) will win Starbucks gift cards and fun surprises! Earn bragging rights and show off your city.
How: Just snap a selfie, tag @EdinaMN and use #CityHallSelfie and post it on social media. Your selfie will be automatically entered into the competition to win Starbucks gift cards.
When: Props, yard games and treats will be provided outside City Hall from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 12. Selfie taking can occur at any time!
Where: Edina City Hall (4801 W. 50th St., Edina, MN 55424). Feel free to stop by other government sites like parks and libraries to snap pictures too!
