Christmas Truce Ball
Dance your way through history with someone you love. Would you enjoy an entertaining evening surrounded by music and reenactors of the greatest generation? Just in time for the holidays, you and a close one can experience what it must have been like to briefly escape from a devastating war. On Saturday December 17, join area WW2 reenactors and veterans as we present an evening of food, music and merriment at La Pizzaria Banquet facility in Canton. Period music will be preformed by the Moonlight Serenaders Big Band, a professional group of musicians and vocalists. Guests are welcome to arrive in period dress (military or civilian) or business formal. This is the third year we have conducted this well received event, and tickets move quickly. A cash bar opens at 5 PM with dinner served at 6 PM. Moonlight Serenaders will play 1940's selections for your dancing enjoyment from 7-10 PM. Admission costs $45 per person or $85 for couples and includes an elegant sit-down meal as well as the chance for door prizes. Honor a veteran by bringing them to this event on December 17.
