Christ Church Pomfret hosts a fundraising concert for Partners in Development featuring Take Note!
Take Note! A cappella Ensemble is excited to announce an upcoming benefit concert that will support the project work of Partners in Development in Guatemala. Since 2015, members of Christ Church Pomfret have been traveling to the southwest Pacific area of Guatemala. They work through a non-denominational, faith-based organization called Partners in Development (PID), which is based in Ipswich, Massachusetts. The process involves sponsoring children who receive a monthly stipend for food and schooling, providing micro-business loans for people to start a business to feed their families, constructing simple but sound homes, and offering free medical and dental care. PID is a frugal organization that spends 93% of donated dollars on services for the poor. Please join us in supporting this deeply meaningful project.
The benefit concert will take place on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at Christ Church Pomfret, Located at 521 Pomfret Street, Pomfret, CT.
Donations will be accepted at the door and will be deeply appreciated.
